Last Tuesday, July 21, Leones Fútbol Club was the last of the Antioquia teams to return to on-field training. The Itagüí team took the opportunity to carry out serological tests for covid-19 on the players, coaching staff, biomedical staff and logistical support.

The ‘auriverde’ club reported in a statement that “the results were delivered on Wednesday, July 22, by the SYNLAB laboratory, showing an asymptomatic positive case. The required measures have already been taken and the case has entered isolation at its place of residence. “It will be monitored by the EPS to which it is affiliated.”

The team from the south of the Aburrá Valley is committed to all the required requirements and the Biosafety Protocol issued by the National Government through the Ministry of Health for the return of Colombian Professional Soccer.

Regarding the two cases that the team had reported after their first tests, they continue to recover and still have between four and five days left to finish their quarantine period according to the established Protocols.
