Strawberry smoothie with fruit toppings.

When you are relaxing outside on a hot summer day nothing sounds more refreshing than a creamy smoothie to quench your thirst. There are so many combinations of flavors that you can use to make the perfect smoothie. Some smoothies are sweet, some tangy and some meant to give your body an energy boost. Here are some tasty recipes for you to try!


Raspberry Piña Colada


    • ½ cup plain yogurt
    • ½ cup coconut milk
    • ½ cup pineapple juice
    • 1.5 frozen bananas
    • ½ cup fresh raspberries (Mashed)


  • In a bowl, mash the fresh raspberries. Combine the yogurt, coconut milk, pineapple and bananas into a blender and blend until completely smooth. Then pour the mixture in a cup, drop in the mashed raspberries and enjoy!



Vegan Strawberry Coconut Smoothie

⅓ Cup fresh strawberries

½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

½ banana

⅔ cup light coconut milk

⅓ cup pineapple juice

½ cup ice cubes


First,  puree the fresh strawberries and pour into a glass. Them rinse the blender and combine the pineapple chunks, banana, pineapple juice and coconut milk, blend until smooth, Then slowly pour the smoothie into the strawberry puree. Enjoy!


Berry Blast Almond Smoothie


1 cup unsweetened almond milk

¼ cup fat free vanilla Greek yogurt

2 heaping tablespoons protein powder

8 to 10 raw almonds

1 tablespoon golden flax seeds

½ cup blueberries

5 or 6 strawberries

Small handful of fresh spinach

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend till smooth and creamy!
