World cup and women’s world cup

The 2018 World Cup will take place in Russia and will begin June 14. The World Cup is a tournament of international soccer teams that have qualified to compete against each other. The World Cup takes place every four years in a different country who hosts the whole event. There are approximately 32 international teams that compete every four years. The competition will last until July 15 where there will be 64 matches played in that time span.

A number of teams will once again be apart of the World Cup, but unfortunately, the United States and Italy did not qualify to play. Italy failed, for the first in 60 years, to defeat Sweden in the final match to allow them to qualify for the World Cup. The United States was another one of the major teams that failed to qualify losing against Trinidad and Tobago.

The very first match to kick off the tournament will be Russia against Saudi Arabia on June 14. This will be the only match on the 14th, but will soon be followed up by three more matches the next day. All the matches will take place in 12 different stadiums all over Russia. The World Cup is a very important competition for these teams, because they can show off their soccer skills and how great their country is.

I really hope that everyone is as excited as I am to watch this year’s World Cup, so I am really rooting for Argentina to win this years World Cup. I also believe that Mexico might have a fighting chance against Germany in their first match, so I am also hoping Mexico will since my parents are big supporters of them.

The 2019 Women’s World Cup is the eighth edition of the World Cup and will take place in France. The games will begin June 7th and will only last till July 7th. In total there will be approximately 24 teams attending the Women’s World Cup. There are currently no teams qualified since the games will begin in 2019, so the qualifications will start to begin in 2018. Hopefully the United States women’s soccer team will qualify and take home the gold in 2019.
