No doubt you have heard something about the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens by now and whether you’re an old fan or you have recently jumped on the bandwagon there is something for everyone in this reboot of the thrilling series. This movie is set 30 years into the future from where it was left off in Star Wars episode VI: Return of the Jedi. It includes many new characters (along with some old ones), intense battle scenes, cool weaponry, and other such features to keep interest. Yet while there were many good aspects, the graphics could be considered a disappointment with all we know is possible in this day and age. Also, the storyline may have been a little too predictable and could have used a few more original plot twists. Even so, this movie has still met all expectations and hype that it created when it was first announced.

Ok. I have to say it. Snape kills Dumbledore!…Oh wait, wrong, story isn’t it? Oops. But quite similarly, one of the most beloved characters does die, Han Solo. While it may not have been a huge shocker, it definitely leaves you feeling shattered and sad when Kylo Ren runs his lightsaber through his father. That’s right, Solo is the father to the young villain who essentially is throwing a hissy fit throughout the entire movie. Back to Solo though, I mean who doesn’t love a sarcastic rebel with the great one-liners right? And what’s Chewy going to do without him? Hopefully those questions and more are answered in the next movie, which is due to come out May 26, 2017. May the force be with you.
